Montana Avalanche Dogs was created out of a need to foster meaningful opportunities

• to train avalanche search dogs

• to create an accredited certification process for validating search teams

• to cultivate relationships with local organizations and resources to respond to avalanche incidents in the case of need

  We work closely with avalanche dog programs from regional ski areas, Sherifs departments, and other organizations
